Range Experience

Springfield through their group committee provides the opportunity for a group to experience firearms at the Springfield facility.

The committee acts as the point of contact for inquiries regarding the opportunity and arranges for the experience. The management of the experience includes:

·                     Setting of date and time
·                     Sufficient volunteers to manage the shooting line (must be RSO certified by the club)
·                     Supply of firearms

o   9mm. 38, 45 and 22 in pistols and rifles in 22

·                     Supply of ammunition
·                     Clean up as required
·                     Sign off of all waivers by group. (to be developed)

Group sizes may vary but the experience is not normally provided for groups of less than 10 or more than 20. The committee will require a minimum of 2 RSO’s for up to 10 and a maximum of 4 RSO’s for up to 20 people. The goal is to have 2 – 4 lines running at all times.
If the group is less than 10 they will be charged the rate for 10

Fees charged to the group (As per the fee schedule): Below for 10 people mix of rim fire and centre fire

    a.    22’s (1000)
    b.    Centre fire Pistol (200)
3.   Guns, ear and eye protection supplied
4.   Club Range Safety Officers supplied
