Shooting Discipline
Rim fire rifle

Description
This is a rim fire rifle format utilizing both Optics and Metal sights. Shooting is done in three positions Bench front and rear rest, Bench front rest and standing at various distances out to 50 meters

Equipment
Equipment requirement consists of any rim fire rifle with any power scope or iron sights.     A spotting scope would be of assistance for those using iron sights. Optics and Iron may compete in different classes. Some shoots may limit the power setting to 9 power.

Format
The shooting format will vary with each shoot and may consist of
·         Bench rest (front & rear bag) at 25 & 50 meters
·         Standing at 25 & 50 meters
·         Front rest and elbows at 25 & 50 meters

Targets will vary and may include
·         Bulls-eye target
·         Small Bench rest targets for 25 & 50 meters (Optics)
·         10 bull targets,25 bull targets
·         Paper Animals
·         Steel
·         Etc.
·         Mix and match to keep things interesting

Additional Information
Total rounds may vary but will be in the vicinity of 50 for each format. A shooter may register for more than one format if multiple are being shot at the same event. Example if bench rest is shot in both Optics and Metal sights you may shoot both for the one registration fee.
