Nominations and Election of Directors
As per the Bylaws 6.2 all board members must be a member in good standing with the Springfield Sports Club Inc.
Nomination Process
If more members are recommended as directors than positions available then the secretary will have available at the AGM an election ballet for the members to vote for their choice. Two members from the meeting will tally the votes and report to the membership, the members with the greatest number of votes will fill the positions available as directors for the coming term.
If members offering and presented to the membership equal the positions available then the members will be elected by acclamation. If no members offer then the current Board must stay in place until the board sources interim members to assume the duties until the next AGM.

Nomination Process
- All nominations for first time Springfield Board members must be made by two members in good standing.
- All nominations must be received in writing by letter (at Springfield Sports Club Inc. 231 Canada St, P.O. Box 22013, Fredericton, NB E3A 4A0) or email to the secretary (at [email protected]) no later than 30 days before the AGM.
- Current Board members whose term is expiring must notify the President no later than 30 days before the AGM of their intentions to re-offer for the Board.
- Nominee’s must sign the Directors responsibilities and submit to the Secretary no later than 30 days before the AGM.
- Nominating committee recommendation will be submitted to the membership, by the nominations committee, no less than 14 days before the meeting

Board Member Requirements
- E-mail access
- Work collegially with the Board of Directors on the overall management of the Springfield Sports Club’s facility’s for the overall well being of the facility
- Participate with Board of Directors members in joint problem solving and decision making for the overall well being of the facility
- Contribute as a member of the management team to the on-going development of the Springfield Sports club’s facility
- Participate as a volunteer on the range during special events that promote the facility
- Generally project a positive image of the facility to the general public and with club members
